Christingle Service in St Mary's Church

Burton Bradstock

9th December 2016

This year's Christingle Service took place in St Mary's Church with a large number of children joining with their parents, grandparents and other members of the congregation in a celebration of Jesus as the 'Light of the World' in aid of the Children's Society.  The children made Christingles at the School prior to the service and, at the culmination of the celebration, every child held a lighted Christingle and held them aloft along the aisles of the Church.  The service was conducted by Revd Sue Linford and arranged by Pauline Woodford, the local Children's Society representative. Following the service, members of the Church provided a children's party in the Village Hall.
