All the children excelled in the different activities and were amazing athletes, working well together and supporting and encouraging each other.

KS1 Mini-Olympics

The week began with our youngest pupils working in Beach Teams to practise some of the activities ahead of Sports Day. The Year 6 pupils and Sports Ambassadors were amazing leading this event.

At the end of the first event Bexington were in the lead with 94 Points.

Sports Day

Thank you for all the wonderful comments saying how much you enjoyed the inclusive Sports Day. The event is intended to ensure that all are able to access sport and have fun. Listening to the laughter of the children they definitely had that! Well done to Brandon’s Team who won the Sports Day trophy. A huge thank you also to Governors for helping at the activities, the Friends of the school for the Rehydration station and to Central Stores for donating the ice pops, which were gratefully received by both pupils and staff!

The winning beach team for Sports Day was Cogden with 144 points.

KS2 Sports Challenge

The older children took part in this competitive event and were pleased to be cheered on by the adult spectators.

The winning beach team for this event was Hive with 179 points.

Rounders Tournament

A huge well done to Hive Beach Team who were the overall winners of Sports Week this year.
