Christmas Cheer    Christingle Service    Christmas Jumper Day    Christmas Nativity    Christmas Lunch

Christmas Cheer (5th December)

Pupils joined the other primary schools singing in Bridport at the beginning of the celebrations in the United Church alongside the Christmas Tree Festival.  Our choir sang both alone and with the Minerva Learning Trust choir.  Our recorder players also joined the combined Minerva Learning Trust recorder band.

Christingle Service (7th December)

The whole school took part in this year's Christingle Service in the church.  The service was led by Revd Pete Stone and Pauline Woodford organised helpers to work with the pupils to make enough Christingles for everyone.  For safety reasons, glowsticks were used in place of candles which created a fantastic effect across the church when they were all lit.

Christmas Jumper Day (14th December)

The School Council organised the Christmas Jumper day in aid of The Children's Society.
Everyone looked bright and cheerful in their wonderful jumpers.

Christmas Nativity (18th December)

The Service of Seven Lessons and Carols and 'Little Angel gets her Wings' involved every pupil in a variety of roles.  KS2 pupils led the lessons and carols with enthusiasm and clarity.  Many of the congregation remarked on the way they had learnt their lines by heart.  The KS1 performance of 'Little Angel gets her Wings' involved everyone in costume as they told and sang the story with confident narration from the pulpit.  Congratulations to all involved for two wonderful performances.

Christmas Lunch (19th December)

The Friends of the School provided decorations and crackers to make the Christmas lunch very special.
Not only that, but it was served to all the children by all the staff.
Everyone enjoyed the excellent food provided by Local Food Links.
