We had a great first assembly of the Spring term, which was led by Courtney and Heidi.

The children in Wagtails class shared their lovely shape pictures. Their challenge was to cover their whole shape with sticky squares.

The children in Robin class are studying their new topic ‘Memory Box’ and some of the children shared memories of their birthdays.

Kingfisher class told all about their Science experiment exploring friction and which materials were more effective when tested. In their topic,

Owl class are investigating the life of Charles Darwin and some of the pupils read their fact files to us.

We congratulated lots of children on their out of school achievements - Lily, Ziva, Niamh and Archie for completing the Frosty 5K run; Heidi on her two cycling medals; Aneka, Anya, Harry, Archie and Alfie on their gymnastics certificates; Alfie on his swimming certificate and Erin on her certificate for finding all the Christmas stockings on the Donkey Sanctuary trail. Finally, we wished Courtney and Tommy luck with their next swimming competitions where they will be competing in Bournemouth at County level.  Good luck!
