The Good Work Assembly this week was led by Lilly and Scott.

The children in Wagtails class have been thinking about Little Red Riding Hood.  They made beautiful posies out of fresh flowers to give to their grown-ups, just like Little Red Riding Hood.

The children in Robin class are talking about celebrations as part of their topic and some of the children shared their thoughts with us.

The home learning in Kingfisher class has impressed Mrs Steward and some of the children read their amazing writing to us.

Owl class have been mapping Darwin’s voyage.  It was interesting to see his voyage plotted on a large map and on the globe.  No wonder it took him five years!

At the end, we congratulated a number of children for their achievements outside school:

Ronni, Jamie and Callum shared their trampoline certificates.  Henri was proud of his first swimming certificate.  We congratulated Erin and Jaxon on their gymnastic certificates.  Zoe and Jamie told us about their achievements in football and Scott proudly showed off his new belt in Tae Kwon Do as well as his Chief Scout Silver Award.  We also joined Mrs Steward in congratulating our cross-country runners. Finally, congratulations to Tommy who reached the final in the County Swimming Gala at the weekend and was placed fifth.

Well done, everyone!
