Welcome to Owl Class! We are a mixed age class of Years 5 and 6. Staff in Owl Class are Mrs Varndell-Paulley, Mrs Sage and Mr Gough.

Vurlands Farm - thank you Vurlands for hosting us for a brilliant day learning about farming, diversification and seasonal eating!
We had a great day at Washingpool Farm!
We grew bean sprouts and used them to make a salad. Some of us stir fried our salad at home to turn it into chop suey!

We poured soapy water on the field and imitated the rain by tapping our fingers on the ground. We didn't have to wait long before the worms started appearing from underground!
Bug hotels in plant pots - we have put them in the churchyard to see if any minibeasts might like to take shelter in them, feel free to go and have a look at them.

Valentine's Cupcakes!
We raised £240 by decorating and selling cupcakes for Valentine's Day! The money we raised will go towards our residential in May!
Thank you to everyone who supported our fundraising, especially The Eggcup Tearooms and Vurlands Animal Farm who made the cupcakes, helped with the decorating and hosted a cake sale at the farm too.
