The Minerva Learning Trust have a vacancy for an Office Manager:

Office Manager

Grade 8, SCP 12-20 (£12.70-£14.71)

37 hours a week, 41 weeks a year


We are looking to recruit a committed, enthusiastic, and flexible person to lead our schools Administrative Team.  The postholder will be based at the Sir John Colfox Academy working with all schools in the Trust


Minerva Learning Trust will be joining in partnership with Wimborne Academy Trust and so the Office Manager will liaise with personnel to ensure consistency between school practice. The main duties and responsibility are to lead the central administrative organisation team managing and directing the work of schools’ office staff in providing administrative and secretarial support in the Trust


  • To manage the provision of Administrative services, to decide on priorities and direct and allocate work to team members
  • Provide cover for staff absence
  • To contribute to the appointment of office staff including induction and staff training requirements
  • To undertake Performance Management Reviews in accordance with the policy practice of the Trust.
  • Ensure Census returns are completed and submitted in a timely manner
  • To ensure consistent practice and high standards across the administrative teams in the Trust


The successful candidate will hold a driving license, have a professional attitude and enjoy working as a part of a growing organisation.
