  • Mrs Proctors Flowers

    Published 16/06/23

When Mrs Proctor left last year, she very kindly donated some planters and gave us a voucher for Groves. We are so thankful for this and our school is coming into bloom with all the beautiful plants that we bought. We used the voucher to also buy some new hanging baskets and brackets which are looking truly fabulous. Thank you so much Claire for your legacy gift.

  • Our new playground!

    Published 12/06/23

Over the May half term, the playground equipment which we have been fundraising for was installed! All the old apparatus was replaced with a new ‘trim trail’ featuring a balance beam, traverse wall, wobbly log and rope weavers. Alongside the trim trail we have installed some roll over bars which are proving very popular. The playground surface has also been upgraded to artificial grass which brightens up the space and provides a great surface for sitting and playing on.

Thank you for supporting our fundraising events and to our Friends for putting them on – it is great to see projects such as this able to go ahead for the benefit of all the children at our school.

We have completed a litter pick of the village and the beach, re-planted the school planters and hanging baskets and been emptying the recycling bins for each classroom.
