Parents/Carers as Partners

As a School we aim to form strong partnerships with parents and carers in support of their children's learning.  There is a wealth of information on this website which can help parents to become more involved in their children's learning and share in their success.

Watch out for the continuous development of this page which will shortly give easy access to information and suggest ways in which you can use the content to support your children.

If there are ways in which you think we can improve this support, please do not hesitate to contact your child's teacher or the headteacher who will be pleased to discuss your suggestions.

The School’s prospectus provides lots of detail about the School that will help parents/carers to find out the information they need when choosing a school for their children.

Practical Support

Cornerstones Curriculum

The new Cornerstones Curriculum provides pupils with a varied, creative way to learn the elements of the National Curriculum and, within each half term summary, there are activities for parents/carers and children to take part in with family and friends.  This is a great way for children and their families to have fun together whilst supporting their learning.  Please check the information each half term. Follow the link for more information.

Records of all the School’s many exciting events are available on the website.  There are pages available only to parents/carers* with photos which will help you to share the enjoyment of the events with your children and spend time together talking about them.

*Details of how to access these pages are available to parents/carers from the School office.

Good Work Assemblies

There are regular Good Work Assemblies held on Wednesday afternoons when children celebrate the work they have been doing in front of an audience of parents/carers.  Information and photos are available so that you can discuss them with your children.
